Good vs. Evil.

This is my entry for the Wacom Bring Your Vision to Life contest.

If you could give away the 'good' in your heart, in exchange for the benefits of being 'evil', would you do it?

I don't believe that humans from birth are good, nor evil. What is evil and what is good is simply morals applied by other people and society. What one's 'evil' is, is someone elses 'good'.

This image features two women. The woman in the frame gave in to her selfishness, and was classified 'evil' by society. This ended up twisting her mind, making her insane.
The woman in the blue dress has yet not given in to her selfishness of her desire to be free. She longs for the freedom the other woman possesses, but if she gives in, the people who confined her will deem her 'evil'.

Notice that what they may or may not have done, along with the subject of their freedom is open to your own interpretations. It's a conceptual piece with fantasy and surrealistic elements.
